Aura Estelle is a planner and stationery brand founded by Tiki Wang, our chief designer and the creative soul of the brand, and headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. We design vegan leather planner covers and Tomoe River paper planners for people who care about how their tools feel in daily use — not just how they look on a desk.
We are a small team. Every product passes through hands we know. Every batch is checked before it ships.
HOW WE THINK ABOUT WHAT WE MAKE
We started Aura Estelle because we could not find planners that combined the things we wanted in one place: the layout discipline of a well-designed daily planner, the writing experience of premium Japanese paper, and covers that felt durable enough to carry every day without looking precious.
Our approach is simple. Use the best materials we can source. Test every product in our own lives before releasing it. Keep batches small enough to control quality at every step.
WHERE OUR PRODUCTS COME FROM
We are transparent about our supply chain because we think buyers deserve to know.
Covers are manufactured in China by factory partners we have worked with for years. The Chinese leather goods industry has unmatched depth in vegan leather, ring binding hardware, and small-batch finishing. We chose China because the quality and consistency at our price point is genuinely not achievable in many other regions — and we verify quality on every batch before it ships.
Paper is sourced from Japan. Our flagship Magnet and Tomoe River paper planners use authentic Sanzen Tomoe River paper — 52 gsm and 68 gsm weights — the same ultra-thin, fountain-pen-friendly paper that the global stationery community has obsessed over for more than a decade. We pay more for it. Our customers pay slightly more. The writing experience is the difference.
Fulfillment happens from two locations. Our Burnaby, BC warehouse at 116-2799 Gilmore Ave, Burnaby, BC V5C 6S5 handles orders for Canada, the United States (for customers who choose Canadian fulfillment), and all international destinations. Our partner facility in Los Angeles, California ships most US orders for faster delivery within the United States.

AE Lab is our space for the experiments, the side-by-side tests, and the longer-form thinking that does not fit on a product page. It is where we share comparisons between papers, write up our own planning workflows, and post the kind of behind-the-scenes content that helps you decide which of our products fits your life.
